The Project

I was at a biohacker conference in Austin when a reporter from The Daily Beast (hey, Mia!) came by our booth. After she interviewed our team, I pulled her aside to see whether the Daily Beast was looking for freelancers with deep experience in the beauty/lifestyle categories. As it happened, they were! Mia introduced me to Alex, and now I send in a few pitches every month.

The Process

There’s no rhyme or reason to the stories I’ve written for The Daily Beast. When something comes to mind, I pitch it to Alex and get the green light more often than not. So far, I’ve written about body mists and self-tanners, supplements and wool bedding, a bamboo bedding explainer, and a review of a very cool circadian health wearable. I’m regularly looking for content ideas, so publicists, send me your pitches!
